They are designed with large push buttons for easy dispensing an identical amount every time. A typical refill will allow for up to 1 300 single doses of liquid soap. Unlike traditional bars of soaps, dispensed liquid soap is not subject to contamination. Dispensers are mode of high grade Polyethylene. The South African Occupational Health and Safety Act requires that all workers have access to suitably clean, hygienic ablution facilities, placing the onus on employers to provide clean facilities which include hand washing facilities. Building sites should have additional hand washing facilities, especially where cement is present as extended contact with cement and hydrochloric or muriatic acid can burn the skin, resulting in unnecessary workman’s compensation claims.
